A centralized warehouse streamlines nationwide distribution and simplifies inventory management, forming the backbone of Dohome’s growing logistics network.

[About The Project]

Dohome Public Company Limited operates as both a retailer and wholesaler of construction materials and home decoration products in Thailand. The company offers a comprehensive range of products that cater to a variety of customer segments, including individual consumers, contractors, and government agencies. Like other major home improvement retailers, Dohome carries an extensive number of SKUs, making inventory management complex and SKU searches time-consuming. As the company continues to scale, a centralized distribution center has become essential to serve as the main hub for its operations and logistics network.

[Problem Statement]

Dohome requires a centralized warehouse to consolidate all products received from suppliers into a single location, creating a distribution hub that serves as the backbone of their logistics network. Strategically located in Pathum Thani, this facility will allow Dohome to efficiently distribute products to its various retail stores nationwide.

[Our Solution]

We designed a stacker crane system for Dohome that offers high selectivity of SKUs and is capable of supporting high throughput—ideal for a central distribution center. In addition to standard pallet size cranes, custom cranes were developed to handle oversized pallets of up to 2 meters in length. These four-arm stacker cranes primarily manage large items such as gypsum boards and plywood, ensuring full coverage of Dohome’s product range.

To support efficient flow, a full RGV (Rail Guided Vehicle) loop was implemented to connect the inbound and outbound docks with the stacker crane areas. Each crane is equipped with a monitoring screen that displays its current work queue, improving transparency and operational flow.

Additionally, we incorporated a master pallet system to accommodate the non-standardized pallets that Dohome receives from various suppliers. By standardizing the handling process, the master pallet system improves safety and ensures consistent operation across the entire system.

Our warehouse management system (WMS) is fully integrated with Dohome’s LN ERP system, allowing for seamless, automated data transfers. This enables our system to automatically generate tasks based on incoming purchase orders and pallet numbers received via API.

The WMS also provides a real-time visual dashboard that displays key operational metrics such as current storage capacity, work queue logs, and machine status—offering Dohome enhanced visibility and control over its warehouse operations.

With the integration of our customized software and hardware solutions, Dohome is now equipped to efficiently manage its rapidly growing scale. The new system delivers the throughput and operational confidence needed to meet the company’s distribution demands for years to come.
